History

In researching the history we learned that the trailer only had one set of numbers and these number were never reissued. So Buttercup has her original numbers. It may not sound like much but this is quite uncommon. Most numbers under 8000 have been reissued MANY,MANY times. In the 1000 series, a particular number may have easily been re-issued 10 times.

She was first registered with WBCCI by Lloyd&Ruth Brown of Los Gatos,California. Indeed, there is a faded sticker from the dealer located in Los Banos.

These folks were members of Unit#127,Monterey Bay California and records indicate that the trailer was at an Airstream Company Rally in Salem,Oregon on May 26-30th 1988 and at the 1989 International Rally in Bozeman,Montana.
