New Actuator Installed

The new DEXTER unit is installed and connected up. It ran straight out of the box. Add a little fluid and it's ready to pump. And what a pumper. It unloaded a quart of fluid in no time during the bleeding process.
The brake line was made by Reno Brake & Clutch for about $15. The wire color coding was a little different than the trailer so attention must be paid to connecting the correct wire on the actuator to the correct wire from the trailer.

Important Note:

I power this actuator using the trailers 12 volt power supply system. This allows the trailer to provide power to the actuator in the event of a breakaway. The tow vehicle does keep the trailer batteries charged up in transit.
