Prep Axle

Before installing the axle you have to install the shock on the axle. It will not go on easily, if at all, after the axle is in place. Using the existing washers that were saved from the old axles, the shock is bolted bell end on the axle. This is tightened enough to hold the shock only. It will be fully tightened later. The axle is then slid under the trailer and each end set on a stand to raise it up off the ground so a jack can be placed underneath.
